HEATING

Terrendis’ comprehensive heating range contains pre-insulated single and double (flow and return) cross-linked polyethylene (PE-Xa) carrier pipes with oxygen-diffusion barrier.

SANITARY

Terrendis’ sanitary range is ideally suited for the distribution of hot potable and sanitary water in both domestic and public utility networks.

COOLING

Terrendis’ pre-insulated cool range is primarily intended for the transport of cold potable water and cooling water in underground distribution networks.

Terrendis’ systems are ideally combined with renewable energy powered heat sources such as biogas/biomass-fueled cogeneration systems, geothermal heat pumps and wood pellet boilers.

HEATING

Terrendis’ comprehensive heating range contains pre-insulated single and double (flow and return) cross-linked polyethylene (PE-Xa) carrier pipes with oxygen-diffusion barrier.

The pipe systems are designed to transport heating water up to 95°C, at a maximum working pressure of 6 bar (PN6).

Terrendis’ complete heating assortment includes pre-insulated pipe solutions for buried networks with heating capacities ranging from the single digit kW up to 1 MW.

The multi-layer thermal insulation is made from cross-linked, microcellular polyethylene (PE-X) foam with a water-repellent closed cell structure, reducing heat loss to a minimum in underground distribution networks.

Terrendis’ heating range is ideally suited for district heating schemes, serving residential and commercial complexes from a central heat source:

  • Traditional fossil fuels (Oil, natural gas, and coal);
  • Biomass/Biogas cogeneration plants;
  • Renewable energies;
  • Etc…

Terrendis’ pre-insulated heating pipes can also be used in individual central heating applications (e.g. to connect a domestic heating system to its dedicated boiler located in a remote utility room).

SANITARY

Terrendis’ sanitary range is ideally suited for the distribution of hot potable and sanitary water in both domestic and public utility networks.

The sanitary carrier pipes are made of cross-linked polyethylene (PE-Xa) and resist water temperatures up to 95°C, at a maximum working pressure of 10 bar (PN10).

The dimensional range of Terrendis’ sanitary pipes allows for both an underground distribution network, supplying hot water from a central heat production, as well as for making buried connections between domestic sanitary applications.

The double pipe systems are designed to circulate the sanitary hot water in a loop, hence limiting water waste while distributing hot water to distant tap-points.

COOLING

Terrendis’ pre-insulated cool range is primarily intended for the transport of cold potable water and cooling water in underground distribution networks.

This system is particularly suitable for supplying holiday resorts, industrial complexes, etc…

Apart from their application in distribution networks, the cool pipes can also be used for individual drinking or cooling water supplies.

The applied carrier pipes in the cool systems are made of high density polyethylene (HDPE-PE100), pressure rated at 16 bar (PN16), and can be used for fluids in a temperature range from -10°C up to + 25°C.

The Terrendis cool range is also available with an integrated self-regulating 10 W/m heating cable, preventing stagnant water from freezing. This is especially useful to protect pipes that cannot be installed underground (e.g. mounted underneath a bridge to cross a river).

RENEWABLE ENERGIES AND BIOGAS
